I was watching commercials the other day on tv and I saw one of the funniest commercials in a while (funny in a "...real?" sorta way). It was a Tyson Chicken Nugget commercial and was pretty boring 'til about the last 10 seconds.

The commercial was advertising how Tyson chicken is "real chicken" not like those other imitation chickens.  At the end it had this woman surrounded by her supposed family, where everyone was smiling and obviously excited about Tyson REAL Chicken Nuggets~. Even better is for the entire section of the commercial that they didn't have Tyson REAL Chicken Nuggets they used a color dampener to make it seem like not having Tyson REAL Chicken Nuggets made you're life dull.

The only reason that this commercial really stood out to me was because of the horribly (or maybe even perfectly) employed propaganda techniques.  The best part about it was the final message though... TYSON CHICKEN NUGGETS WILL MAKE YOUR FAMILY LOVE YOU!!!

So thanks Tyson chicken for making me lol, and learn how to gain the love and affection of MY family~

Yo! thecurtain , graycat21  and I wanted to organize a meetup for Delaware, but since we're such a small state, we thought fans from nearby states might want to come by as well :)


Date: October 24th, of course!

Location:  graycat21  and thecurtain  are gonna be going around this weekend to try to find the best park in which to situate ourselves, but we'll be based in Newark, DE. If anyone knows of any particularly good parks, please let me know :3

Time: We were thinking of starting around noon... And then, you know, you can leave whenever you want/need.

What?: It's a picnic! Soooo original, I know! We thought it would be nifty if everyone brought a snack or dessert (just something small that travels and serves easily!) from another nation's cuisine, and then we'll play games and chat and generally have fun! This meetup is absolutely cosplay friendly (though not necessary!), so come dressed up if you want! I know I will~ And if you prefer to be behind the lens, bring along your cameras and we can have superawesome photoshoot time!

I hate life... a little bit right now.
Next Monday I have and exam in Biblical and Classical Literature, and I'm really far behind in the readings. And to make matters even more oishii my parents are stealing me this weekend to go on a 75 mile bicycle ride that I have to pay $250 dollars to go on. =(

For anyone who doesn't know, my Monday schedule is a b!@#$. I start at 8 am and have classes until 10 pm at night. I have an hour break around lunch time but I usually have to do work for Tuesday durning that.

Now thats all a butt hurt but it usually takes the entire weekend for me to get all the work I need to get done for Monday & Tuesday done. (I'm usually too sleepy to do work Monday night.)

So this bike ride thing is really screwing me over. And I have told my mother about my dilemma and her responds was to pretty much brush me off, which was just a little bit frustrating. D=<

Anyway please enjoy this kitten.

I always over pack and never have enough room for all my stuff. Sigh >_>
My mother just finished offering me a suitcase but I feel like that is an over kill so I politely declined the better alternative.

Meh.

In other news I downloaded some fabulous music today and am currently spam listening to it. Also~ my room is done-ish. So please wait for pictures ^_^

In other other news, I dyed my hair again. This time the color came out as intended. The only sad thing is my hair is pretty dark to start with so any dye just make it look darker instead of more colorful *pouts*.
Which means instead of firebird red hair I have red highlights.

In other other other news, I have a lot of art. I'm not sure how it's all going to fit on my walls @_@

Has anyone else noticed how thoroughly I abuse emocons?

 Hey~ It's the first ABDC episode and here is my run down of the crews. Beat Your Feet Kings: Sloppy and boring, they are suppose to be really impressive with their foot work, but it just looked like flailing; that and they have horrible sense of style.
We are Heros:
Hot damn they have strong thigh muscles! They really work their upper bodies a lot, but I don't know how I feel about all female crews.

AfroBorike:
Their total sell-outs. I wish women would stop being hoo-ha's. That and they don't do hip hop, and really that is what the show is even though it tries to say otherwise.
Massive Monkeys:
Hot damn they were fabulous~ They are the team to beat this year! They have my support and I can't help but love they smexii bboys (// ^______^)//

Artistry in Motion:
Girl crews are such a turn-off. They were pretty meh, they kinda reminded me of Fish n Chicks.

Southern Movement:
Hick-hop = lolz. They're choreography is tight, they're hand tutting was sweet, and they are highly amusing. They're pretty awesome.

Rhythm City:
If they rep-ing the Bronx they doing damn good! They're choreo was fabulous, they're transitions were wicked tight. Good job yo

Fr3sh:
I just love the Asian crews.  But they used props on their very first performance which is pretty awesome.  That and they were crunking! What the fudge~ that was great.  But I don't think their choreo was too impressive but they are lots of fun.

Vogue Evolution:
  They are super cheerleadery.  Which is a turn-off to me.  Lil mama seems to love them though, Shane is totally creeped out by them though.

So that's the run down children.  No Quest crew this year, but I'm pretty stoked about Massive Monkeys, Fr3sh and Rhythm City.

For everyone who hasn't heard yet the picture day has been moved to Tuesday. We will still be meeting at Ami's house around 5.

As a result we obviously cannot paint the same day and will now be painting on Thursday. Please be at my house around 1 since I'll be at the food bank until 12:30 most likely.
